Taystful Sharp Edged Cake Course 7th November 2017

This morning class covers the layering, filling, ganaching and sugarpasting of a double depth cake (approx 5 inch depth incorporating cake and dummy booster) producing a sharp edged finish.
The course is suitable for those who are familiar with covering cakes with sugarpaste, but would like to extend their skills to creating a clean sharp edged finish to a cake. You have the option to add textured effects on the side of the cake if wanted. During the time the cake is being chilled, I will demonstrate the making of edible cake lace.
NB. we will be using ingredients containing allergens gluten, eggs, milk and soy lecithin. Traces of nuts may be present. We may also be using ingredients containing colourings.
You will be able to take home with you the tutorial notes from the class, and of course the cake you have covered, all ready to add your own decorations at home.....or to be eaten as it is!
(Cellophane and ribbon is provided to wrap your cake to take it home).
