Taystful Online Festive Desserts Masterclass 1st November 2020

Date: 01-Nov-2020

Remaining Places: 1

This online Zoom session enables us to work through making two delicious desserts together while you are in your own home or workspace, all the while being able to communicate and see myself and other participants...as near to a face to face course as possible, while apart!

The session will be around 2.5 hours (may run over), and will require a fair amount of planning and preparation time too. Places will be limited, so we can work through each stage efficiently. I am delighted to have introduced some patisserie work to the online courses!

This particular session is suitable for those who have already gained baking and chocolate experience. It has various components, so covers a wide range of professional skills, which are comparable to top restaurants.

The desserts will be: chocolate souffle (can be gluten free), blackcurrant sorbet, speculaas spiced chocolate crumble, and orange bavarios with cinnamon sponge base and orange syrup (can also be gluten free).

You can have more than one person in your house/workspace working along with the recipe (just register one person/space), as long as you are happy they are on the Zoom online session.

You will receive the speciality ingredients, for example, specific gelatine, chocolate, sorbet stabiliser, flour and almonds finely pre-ground together for the sponge and crumble. You will supply the store cupboard and perishable ingredients - namely eggs, caster sugar, cream, milk, vanilla (pod best), butter, cornflour, flour (and or GF plain flour), cocoa powder, orange, lemon, spices, cream of tartar, blackcurrant puree, demarara sugar

You will require individual ovenproof ramekins and moulds for the bavarois (metal dariole moulds, or metal jelly moulds are ideal).

Once you have registered, you will receive more in depth information on ingredient quantities. Normal kitchen utensils will be required, but a microwave, temperature probe, the aforementioned moulds, freezer, silicone mats (something like this is fine, at Amazon), electric hand whisk, oven and accurate digital scales would be essential.
